Quick answer
What is Hair Transplant?
A hair transplant moves healthy hair follicles from a donor area, usually the back of the scalp, to thinning or bald areas. With the FUE technique, individual follicles are extracted and implanted under local anaesthesia. Transplanted hair is permanent, and new growth appears over 6–12 months.
Hair transplant is a long-term solution for androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness) and receding hairlines when medical treatments alone are not enough.
Every case begins with a scalp analysis to check donor density, the stage of hair loss and whether supporting treatments such as PRP or GFC are needed before or after surgery.
